The Director's Assistant pricing: base quote vs. add-ons
The Director's Assistant pricing requires a quote for the base system. The figures documented below are historical add-on prices from Continental's 2016–2017 store, not a current subscription or a complete system price.
How much does The Director's Assistant cost?
Our record does not establish a current base price for The Director's Assistant Web (TDAW) or The Smart Director. Continental's archived store lists individual licenses and modules, with each source and capture date linked below. Historical add-on prices do not establish today's total cost. Ask for a written quote that separates the base system, users, remote access, modules and any recurring charges before comparing it with another vendor.
Questions buyers ask
Is the $300 user license the price of the whole system?
No. The archived store labels $300 as an Additional User License, a one-time add-on in the 2016 and 2017 captures. It does not establish the base system price or a current per-user charge.
Are the $100 website-export modules current prices?
No current price is established by those records. The $100-per-module figures come from Continental's archived 2016–2017 store. Treat them as historical evidence and ask which exports are included in your current quote.
What should a TDAW or Smart Director quote include?
Ask the vendor to identify the product and version, the base license or subscription, included users, off-site and web access, and required modules. Request a separate line for any setup, training, support or recurring fees, with each item marked included, extra or not applicable. Use those quoted amounts in the linked 12- and 36-month cost calculator.

What nobody has published
Base TDAW system price (license or monthly)
The base system was never sold through the store; every current channel says contact-vendor.
Three 2026 reviewers independently call it affordable ('Priced right with everything included'; 'price is reasonable and affordable, worth the cost'; a buyer who tried it 5 months: 'the price was very reasonable'). Pursuing early-2000s archive captures of tdaw.com.
Negotiation anchors
- Its add-ons undercut everyone: $300 per extra user one-time vs. per-month user fees elsewhere (e.g., FuneraLogic $100/user/month, archived Capterra 2019).
- A 2022 buyer who left after 5 months still called the price 'very reasonable' while criticizing the tech — cheap but dated is the trade.
